On Friday 26th February ex-college student and star of Hollyoaks visited the College to talk to students about her life as a leading character in a soap and her experience since leaving college.
Melissa commented, “I loved it here at the college. I made loads of friends and the course sets you up perfectly for life as an actor. There was a whole module dedicated to researching and rehearsing monologues and that is exactly what you need when auditioning for drama schools.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my visit today. I have been able to go round a few of the classes giving them an insight to my life working in television and some tips on how to get an agent. I have also seen the musical theatre students perform and thought they were great!”
