Georgia Dickson

Business Administration Apprenticeship

“When considering my options for further education I knew I wanted to learn in a hands-on environment as A Level education didn’t suit me. I was also keen to get into work to earn money and doing an apprenticeship has enabled me to do both of these. I have gained knowledge of Business and Administration as well as gaining valuable work skills that have helped me to progress to promotions within the company that I work for.

I attended a day release course in which we covered a wide range of subjects within Business and working day to day has given me the administration experience which has got me so far. Now I have been promoted I am able to study an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration.

Working alongside learning has helped to shape my career path. Once I have completed my Advanced Apprenticeship I plan to train as an Accountant – I’d never have found myself doing that if I hadn’t done this Apprenticeship.”
