Lecturer, Peter Harvey commented, “I am incredibly proud of Dominic and Maxwell. They performed with great poise and produced dishes experienced chefs would have been proud of. This was a great experience for them which I hope will inspire them to bigger and better things.”

Dominic and Maxwell are both students at St Benedict's Catholic High School in Alcester and attend Stratford-upon-Avon College one day a week as young apprentices.

A Young Apprenticeship provides an exciting opportunity for 14 to 16 year olds to combine their academic studies with a blend of vocational qualifications and work placements. Young apprentices learn the practical skills and knowledge required by employers, whilst studying for qualifications which specifically relate to industry.
