Stratford-upon-Avon College’s Autumn Term Open Events will be held on Friday 11th November, 6 – 8pm and Saturday 12th November, 10.30am – 12 noon.

Come along to one of our open events and find out about the huge range of study opportunities available to you. Information will be available on full and part-time courses and displays will illustrate to visitors what life at the College is like and what can be achieved by choosing to study here.  The range of activities will include:

• “Have a go” at soldering and electronics activities
• Live broadcast from Stratcast, our online television and radio station
• Live music performances
• “Have a go” at napkin building, stir fries and chocolate work/piping
• Talks for parents
• Performing Arts workshops and open rehearsals in Dance, Design/Technical Theatre and Musical Theatre
• A Level displays and demonstrations

Tutors and staff will be available to offer advice and guidance on the wide range of courses and study routes available. These range from Progression Pathways|, Diplomas|, A Levels|, BTEC vocational qualifications|, Apprenticeships| and SWIFT programmes (14-16 year olds) as well as part-time| and higher education| courses. Staff and student guides will provide tours of the campus so that visitors can see the range of educational facilities| and equipment available.

This year we are offering one lucky applicant the chance to win an ipad2| if they apply and enrol at the College in September 2012. Conditions apply. Winner will be picked at random.

Stratford Business Services|, the college’s business division, will also be present to advice on courses for businesses|, training and meeting facilities| and opportunities for work-based learning|.
