Follow the instructions to connect to the College Network Remotely
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
1. Save the following file to your desktop
(To do this, Right click and chose Save Target As...then choose the save location as your Desktop(You will only need to do this once)).
2. Once the file has downloaded - Double click the file. A warning box like the one below may pop up, here you can just click 'Connect'
3. Then type strat-col\username (change username for your college login name, Eg. if your username is J.Bloggs then you would need to type strat-col\j.bloggs (below).
4. Type your college password then click OK.
You will then be connected to a Staff Desktop, where you are able to work as if you were sitting at a computer within the college.
If you get the following error:
“Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because an error occurred on the remote computer that you want to connect to. Contact your network administrator for assistance.”

There is a 'Fix it now button', on the page which you will need to click on.
If you select 'run now', it takes you through a few steps, and takes about 30 seconds.
IPAD/ Android Devices
