The world of business has become a global and multinational marketplace.
Studying the subject of business will allow you to compare and contrast how a business operates, how it is structured and managed, what constraints it operates under and how change is managed. You will investigate multinational companies and research independently the complex opportunities and threats of globalisation through debate, discussion and presentation. You will also cover a wide range of topical issues such as sweatshops and child labour, and discuss how environmental issues impact on business today.
Assessment is 100% written examination.
You will need:
- 5 GCSE passes at grade C / grade 5 or above including English Language and Mathematics.
- A grade B / grade 6 or higher in GCSE Mathematics.
