This course has been designed to enable you to study Psychology at an introductory level, yet also gain enough insight into the subject to complete the course with a rounded knowledge of the approaches, processes and issues that have been chosen to illustrate it at GCSE level.
The course is built upon the understanding that psychological knowledge could be treated as being made up of a number of different approaches. It includes: Biological Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology and Individual Differences.

Paper One Unit B541: Studies & Application in Psychology 1 1 hour 15 minutes – 80 Marks 40 % of qualification [5 questions, candidates answer all questions]
Paper Two Unit B542: Studies & Application in Psychology 2 1 hour 15 minutes – 80 Marks 40 % of qualification [5 questions, candidates answer all questions]
Paper Three Unit B543: Research in Psychology – 1 hour – 40 marks 20 % of qualification. [2 sections, candidates answer all questions]
