This course is free to students who are 18 and finishing a Level 3 Extended Diploma or A Level Programme. It will allow you to fully prepare for degree level courses or industry practice.
This is an exciting one year programme that explores a range of areas within creative media production; you will gain an in-depth understanding of Moving image making developing production skills, taking ideas from script to screen. You will be given the opportunity to experiment with production practices and innovative techniques to make exceptional still and moving image products to prepare you for your next steps into Creative Media.
You will be given the opportunity to create products which will be entered into competitions and film festivals. Guest speakers and professional workshops will be incorporated to enrich your learning and develop your knowledge of working in industry. Recent guest speakers have included filmmakers Debbie Isitt (Nativity and Confetti), Andrea Arnold (Fish Tank and American Honey), Joe Stephenson (Chicken) and Jane Gull (My Feral Heart).

Stratford-upon-Avon College boasts strong links with industry and students on the foundation course will have access to industry professionals, partaking in workshops, sessions and Q&A master classes throughout their programme of study.
