How will this course be delivered?

This course will be delivered through theory and practical sessions

What qualifications will I get?

BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Health and Social Care.

English and Maths Functional Skills or GCSE depending on prior attainment

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed in a range of ways that may include the completion of assignments, projects, question papers, presentations, observations and portfolios throughout the course.

How do I get a place on the course?

Places are offered by 1-1 interview with a member of the Foundation team and a positive reference or report from your last educational establishment.

What are the entry requirements?

No formal qualifications are needed to gain entry, however learners must be working towards an entry level for Maths/English and have an interest in health and social care and childhood studies.

What else do I need to know?

Learners on the Level 1 course will complete compulsory work experience of a minimum of 30 hours
