This course is intended for anyone who is seeking a first qualification in manual book-keeping and accounts. It aims to provide learners with a basic knowledge of the subject. The aim of the qualification is to provide candidates with an introduction to book-keeping practices and to process source documents that underpin accurate record keeping.

Assessment will be through an exam, taking place in the 10th session of the course.

Students who are successful in the examinations would be qualified to fulfil a junior role in an accounts office.
