What will I study?

Sessions will begin with gentle and relaxed warming up exercises tailored to the individuals in the group to get everyone involved and moving at whatever energy level they feel they want to try. Each week a different theme or stimulus will then be introduced and will use movement, props and music to explore and stimulate the physical responses and imaginations.

How will this course be delivered?

This class is an informal and relaxed cross-generational movement workshop. The session will focus on a different theme every week and is designed to give carers (a parent, grandparent, childminder, etc) and their young person (pre-schoolers to babies) a relaxed environment to explore rhythm, movement and creativity together. All levels of ability and combinations of ages will be individually catered for within the class, whether it be a new mum wanting to regain a little fitness whilst her baby experiences a new stimulus, or a grandparent wanting to journey through a movement adventure with their grandchild. Come and see where this movement class will take us.

What qualifications will I get?

No formal qualification is associated with the course.

How will I be assessed?

No formal assessment is provided, however feedback and guidance within taught sessions is given.

What are the entry requirements?

No movement experience is necessary, just a willingness to participate between the young person and the carer and a sense of adventure!
