This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required when providing end of life care. This could include providing support, dealing with attitudes of others and understanding how a mental health issue could impact on the end of life care that is provided. This qualification can be used as CPD or for personal knowledge.
This course is split into manageable sections. These are:
• Understand how to work in end of life care
• Understand how to provide support to manage pain and discomfort
• End of life care and dementia
• Understanding the role of the care worker in time of death
• Understand loss and grief in end of life care
This is delivered via distance learning
NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of End of Life Care.
Assessments will be marked by an allocated tutor who will provide you with detailed feedback. You will be assessed against criteria where all learning outcomes of the course have to be covered; your tutor will give you guidance for this.

Due to funding eligibility, all candidates must be a minimum of 19 years old and have lived in the UK for 3+ years.
