Will help for preparation for further training for a role where administrating medication is required. This qualification can be used as CPD or to boost your opportunity to join the healthcare, nursing or health and social care industry.
This course is split into manageable sections. These are:
• Understand medication and prescriptions
• Supply, storage and disposal of medication
• Understand the requirements for the safe administration of medication
• Record-keeping and audit processes for medication administration and storage
This is delivered via distance learning
NCFE Level 2 Certificate in the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care.
Assessments will be marked by an allocated tutor who will provide you with detailed feedback. You will be assessed against criteria where all learning outcomes of the course have to be covered; your tutor will give you guidance for this.
