“The armed forces and the Royal Air Force in particular have always been of great interest and a source of inspiration for me. led me to choose the Aerospace Engineering course at Solihull College.

Naively, I had always thought engineering was all practical ‘hands-on’ work, but in the time I have been studying aerospace at Solihull College, I have come to realise that the academic aspects of the course are more interesting and challenging than I ever would have thought.

I am now considering the possibility of pursuing a career in radar technology and defence intelligence”.
