Where will this course lead?

Recent statistics have shown that the UK's adult population is gaining weight; so there has never been a better time than now, to enrol. Our Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health is ideal for anyone who wishes to develop their knowledge and understanding of diet, forms of nutrition, general health, weight management and understanding eating disorders. This qualification can be used as CPD or for personal knowledge.

What will I study?

This course is split into manageable sections. These are:
• Explore the principles of healthy eating
• Consider nutritional needs of a variety of individuals
• Use food and nutrition information to plan a healthy diet
• The principles of weight management
• Understanding eating disorders

This is delivered via distance learning

What qualifications will I get?

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health.

How will I be assessed?

Assessments will be marked by an allocated tutor who will provide you with detailed feedback. You will be assessed against criteria where all learning outcomes of the course have to be covered; your tutor will give you guidance for this.

What are the entry requirements?

Due to funding eligibility, all candidates must be a minimum of 19 years old and have lived in the UK for 3+ years.
