A Motor Vehicle student from Stratford-upon-Avon College is showing incredible diversity of skill as he is succeeding not only at his college course but in the world of darts.
Liam Elliott, 17 from Honeybourne, is on the Level 2 Motor Vehicle course and in his spare time has been competing in a range of darts tournaments with his eye set on playing with the pros.
So far, he has played in the Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC) where he was won the Kineton Open, is a part of a county team called the Worcester Youth and has now moved onto playing in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) where 16 -23 year olds who want to go pro can compete.

Next month he is taking his passion international as he competes in the Dutch Open and will be travelling to Germany in the summer as part of the PDC tour.
To support his progression, he has sponsors such as Soudal, The Gate Inn and ex professional player Dave Honey.
Liam comments: “I love the atmosphere, it’s been great to have the support of so many people, and the game has allowed me to be social, develop my confidence and overcome nerves.”
He is incredibly pleased to be able to practise both his passions: “I get to be passionate about cars in the day and darts at night. It’s really great. And my tutor has been so supportive too, always asking how it is all going!”
Best of luck Liam for your upcoming competitions!
