A Computing & Digital Technologies student from Stratford-upon-Avon College is celebrating receiving outstanding results.
Olivia Horsman, 22 from Wellesbourne, completed the two-year qualification in Computing & Digital Technologies with Distinction Star results, the highest possible grade in vocational qualifications.

Olivia was thrilled with the results as she has always been passionate about working with IT. Especially since her previous education had taken an alternate route to most: “Growing up I’ve always loved technology and wanted to pursue it as a career. However, being homeschooled for most of my life due to illness meant I did not have access to the traditional pathways into that sort of career. So, I choose to study this course and qualification as it would give me options and pathways to my goals that were actually accessible to me.”
Although she is delighted with her results, one of the things she has loved most about her time at college were the people: “What I loved the most about the course were my classmates and teachers, they were all lovely and I always felt safe and able to be myself around them. They were what made these last two years for me.”
Olivia is extremely pleased with her achievement and what it means for the future: “I’m really happy, it gives me a lot of options going forward.”
Currently Olivia is studying A-Level Mathematics with the support of her family and is aiming to apply for university to study Computer Science.
Congratulations Olivia on your amazing result!
