End of year performances allow students to showcase the skills they have developed throughout their course and these students did not disappoint. The Dancers displayed skill, precision and agility as they showcased a range of dance styles. Music students brought classic rock anthems to life and demonstrated technical ability alongside the passion these iconic tracks demand. All supported by breathtaking light and AV spectacles created by Backstage Production Arts students, the show was a testament to the talent and commitment of all students involved.

Collaboration between departments is a benefit of studying at the College, where all departments can share their creative and technical skills to create high calibre work. It also represents working in industry where you must collaborate and work with a range of professionals.

Programme Manager for Performing Arts & Music, Claire Morley, was thrilled with both the collaboration and the electrifying final result: “Our students delivered an outstanding performance in this final production. We push them to explore a wide range of styles throughout their training, and this was the first time we’ve combined a rock concert with a dance showcase – it was such an inspiring challenge. Seeing them come together, support each other and deliver such a high-energy performance was incredible.”
