A Photography student from Stratford-upon-Avon College volunteered their services at a local charity event recently to support children and their families who are living with cancer.
Ezra Brayne, 19 from Leamington Spa, dedicated their time and photography skills to The Enchanted Tearooms charity event The Winter Warrior Ball.

As a second-year student on the Photography course, Ezra was keen to expand their work experience to build their portfolio and network. Ezra contacted a variety of local businesses offering support and was thrilled to hear back from The Enchanted Tearooms.
The Enchanted Tearooms is known for its family friendly tearoom and regularly hosts events supporting children and families in the community. They invited Ezra along to one of their latest events, The Winter Warrior Ball, where they had 25 cancer families all coming together to celebrate, sing, dance and meet some special princess guests.
This was an incredibly special event for Ezra as not only was it a wonderful event to dedicate their time to, but also was poignant as Ezra is a cancer survivor: “I felt honoured to have been there. This work experience resonated so personally with me and it was such a fantastic event.”

Ezra enjoyed the event: “I had so much freedom to take pictures of all the families and the performers. It was nice to see an event for something so important.”
Photography Lecturer, Kimberley Malins, is incredibly proud of Ezras work: “Ezra is always committed to dedicating their time as a photographer and often gets involved within the community to help out wherever they can. I am pleased to see such brilliant outcomes, as well as Ezra getting involved with charities to help out. Well done Ezra!”
Ezra is keen to undertake more work experience and hopes to continue to university next year.
