Who We Support
The College supports students with the following additional needs:
Physical & Sensory
- Physical or mobility impairments
- Visual or hearing impairments
- Medical conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes and heart disease
Learning & Communication
- Communication and learning difficulties

Our Specialist Support Team
We have an extensive team of qualified and experienced specialists to support students with:

Students with an Education, Health and Care Plan
Supporting students up to age 25.
Named Support Tutor
If a student has an EHCP, we will support them every step of the way. Each Student with additional needs will be allocated a Support tutor.
What This Could Include
- Attendance at annual reviews.
- Arranging access to information, advice and guidance about the provision at Stratford-upon-Avon College (and merger partner Solihull College & University Centre).
- Arranging experience of the College environment (e.g. visits or tasters).
- Working alongside the student and the people who support the student to make sure they get the right help.
- Liaising with professionals in education, health and care to meet the student’s support needs

Once a student has applied and indicated that they have a support need, we will contact them and their school for more information.
